Virtual Design Sales Consultant

Join Wayfair, one of the world's largest online destinations for the home, as a Virtual Design Sales Consultant. In this exciting remote opportunity, you'll utilize your creative and sales skills to help customers create their dream home, recommending products that fit their unique style, budget, and space.

We're seeking driven, empathetic, and entrepreneurial individuals to launch our newest team. As a Virtual Design Sales Consultant, you'll earn a competitive salary of $15 per hour, with the opportunity to earn a monthly bonus. You'll have the chance to work with high-end manufacturers, designing custom upholstery pieces and sharing your expertise in fabric and finishes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing custom upholstery pieces and recommending complementary products to customers
• Guiding customers through the customization process, including requesting samples and product information
• Navigating multiple software applications to provide personalized recommendations
• Meeting or exceeding sales and customer satisfaction targets
• Efficiently managing your time and prioritizing the customer experience
• Collaborating with the team to share innovative ideas and improve operations

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in a design-related environment
• Interior design experience or a passion for luxury/high-end furniture
• Strong organization, self-motivation, communication, and relationship management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Technical acumen to learn new software programs quickly
• A dedicated private workspace with reliable internet speeds
• Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office applications
• A Bachelor's degree or college diploma equivalent (preferred)
