Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service / Tax Preparation Representative - Seasonal working from home, you will:

  • Provide inbound customer support to resolve routine problems and questions regarding client's products and/or services
  • Help customers prepare their tax returns with accuracy and efficiency
  • Track, document, and retrieve information in databases to ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Offer additional products and/or services to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Deliver expert customer experiences with a smile, exceeding customer expectations

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Recent tax experience, with a strong understanding of tax preparation and compliance
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • A high school diploma or GED, with a strong foundation in mathematics and communication
  • A quiet, distraction-free environment to work from in your home, with reliable high-speed internet and a smartphone
  • Strong computer navigation skills and PC knowledge, with proficiency in fast-paced multi-tasking
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing customer needs
  • A desktop or laptop to complete PC and internet testing during the application process (a work computer will be provided after the first day of training is complete)

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly beneficial:

  • Experience working with tax preparation software and systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex customer issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Proficiency in multiple languages, with a strong understanding of cultural diversity and inclusivity
