Job Summary

As a Remote Travel Customer Experience Agent, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, from initial consultation to post-travel follow-up. You'll work closely with our team to plan and execute customized travel itineraries, manage client relationships, and stay up-to-date on the latest travel industry trends and policies. If you're a strong communicator, a creative problem-solver, and a team player, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

As a Remote Travel Customer Experience Agent, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing, planning, and executing travel sales, including airline, car rental, cruises, hotels, tickets/events, and activities
  • Processing payments on behalf of clients
  • Providing all necessary documents to clients before and after travel
  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintaining relationships with travel partners and vendors, building strong partnerships to deliver exceptional experiences
  • Working well in a group/team setting, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest travel industry trends, policies, and best practices
  • Completing required certification within a timely manner
  • Completing ongoing training with our company and travel partners to stay current and enhance skills

Skills and Requirements

To succeed as a Remote Travel Customer Experience Agent, you'll need:

  • To be at least 18 years of age and a resident of the United States
  • A smartphone and/or computer with reliable internet access
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact, communicate, and negotiate effectively
  • Ability to make travel and event recommendations based on clients' interests
  • Ability to manage time and be organized, with attention to accuracy and detail
  • Strong computer and internet knowledge, with experience using travel industry software and systems
  • Personal travel experience is not required but will be considered an advantage
