Relocation support is not provided.Poland: employment will be under 'Umowa o Pracę' (UoP). Relocation support is not provided. We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our expanding Team.

What you'll do:

• Advise on financial regulatory frameworks including PSD2, CRD, and CRR, and ensure compliance across operations
• Support and structure financial transactions, as well as credit product launches and changes
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including financing agreements, service contracts, outsourcing agreements, and partnership arrangements
• Support teams in liaising with regulators and other authorities within the EU on licensing, reporting and other regulatory matters
• Provide legal guidance during product development to ensure regulatory and product compliance
• Collaborate with claims/operations/customer support/transaction monitoring teams
• Participate in dispute resolution and advise on litigation strategy where needed

What you'll bring:

• 5–10 years of relevant experience in a reputable law firm, fintech, bank, or regulatory authority
• Bar admittance in the Netherlands or Germany
• In-depth understanding of EU and local regulatory frameworks (e.g. PSD2, CRD, CRR)
• Strong track record of structuring and executing international financial transactions
• Experience in credit products, including SME lending
• Fluent in English; Dutch or German is a strong plus
• Business-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-moving, tech innovative environment
