Remote Event Director II - $26/Hour

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Event Director II to join our team at Disney, working remotely. As an Event Director II, you will play a pivotal role in directing live production, including complex sports events and ESPN profiles. You will be responsible for overseeing the technical team, providing direction and feedback, and collaborating with the design and production team to deliver high-quality live events.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in live event production, excellent technical and creative skills, and demonstrated leadership and communication abilities. You will be responsible for planning, directing, and executing live productions, supervising the technical team, and collaborating with remote operations to determine industry and user requirements for telecasts.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning, directing, and executing live productions of remote and REMI live sporting events
• Supervising the technical team for live event productions and providing direction, feedback, and development
• Collaborating with designers and organizers to determine the creative vision and technical direction of exhibitions
• Making immediate decisions about images and sounds to be broadcast and converting data and information to determine camera parameters
• Working with the production and project team to determine the location of cameras and planning and making required cuts
• Leading technical teams and remote staff assigned activities and conducting production and technical meetings

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• At least 3 years of experience leading complex live sports events
• Deep expertise in conducting live and remote sports events
• Knowledge of technical equipment involved in conducting live and remote sports events
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions
