Casual Freight Courier Job Description of Casual Freight Courier: UPS is in search of friendly and physically agile individuals to take on the role of Casual Package Delivery Drivers. Using our famous brown trucks, you will be responsible for the delivery of packages of varying sizes to customers. Roles and Responsibilities of Casual Freight Courier: • Drive UPS vehicles to deliver packages promptly and handle customers' packages with care and professionalism. • Maneuver packages weighing up to 70 lbs by lifting and carrying them with ease. • Dedicate yourself to exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional look. • Adhere to the UPS appearance regulations by wearing the uniform that has been furnished by the company. • The job at hand demands a work duration of eight to ten hours per day, and the workdays may fluctuate as per the needs of the business, which could either be from Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday. • Meet the required standards for the DOT physical exam. Qualifications and Experience of Casual Freight Courier: • As per the regulations of your state, you must possess a valid driver's license that does not require a Commercial Driver's License. • Being capable of hoisting weights of up to 70 lbs. • The ability to offer unparalleled customer service coupled with top-level driving expertise. • The legality of working within the jurisdiction of the United States. • Observance of UPS Standards for Attire and Physical Appearance.
