That's a hell of a lot of work - so let's get started.As a Software Engineer (f/m/x) in Tomorrow’s banking team, you will be working directly on the further development of our core banking services. Together with a crew of experienced colleagues, you will be responsible for guaranteeing the smooth running of our payment transactions and incorporating exciting new features into our back-end services. In our cross-functional team you will be working together with product owners, designers, front-end engineers, and of course other back-end engineers.Your responsibilities will include: • You will further develop our Java and Kotlin-based back-end services. • You will discuss implementation details with different stakeholders. • You will analyze any problems that occur and solve the bugs causing them. • You will help the team to extract further features from a monolith into smaller microservices. What we're looking for • You have already gained first professional experience as a Software Engineer. • You have a good command of programming with Java or Kotlin. • You have a good knowledge of SQL and basic knowledge of GitLab. • You follow the principle: “You build it, you run it”. • You set great store by clean code and enjoy improving old legacy code by refactoring it. • Highly automated test coverage is a given for you. • You are fluent in English. • You support the idea to create a better future for everyone by using money as a force for good.
