Part-Time Remote School Social Worker Location: Remote Position Type: Part-Time (3 Days/Week) Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Independent Contractor, Hourly Pay Job Summary: VocoVision is hiring a committed and empathetic Virtual School Social Worker. This part-time role requires 3 days a week and offers the chance to support students in emotional and autism support programs across various educational settings. The position involves providing social work services for high school students in a center-based program and supporting those in Pineapple Programs, REAL, and WASC initiatives. Primary Responsibilities: • Deliver virtual social work services to high school students (grades 9-12) in emotional and autism support programs (1.5 days at Tunkhannock Area School District). • Provide counseling, emotional support, and interventions for students in Pineapple Programs, REAL, and WASC programs (1.5 days). • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to enhance student emotional well-being and academic achievement. • Assist in developing and executing individualized support plans for students, focusing on emotional and behavioral challenges. • Maintain comprehensive documentation of services and student progress. • Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary. Qualifications: • Required: Pennsylvania School Social Worker Certification, or Emergency Certification (if applicable). • Experience working with high school students in emotional support, autism support, or other special education settings. • Strong communication, organizational, and virtual collaboration skills. • Ability to begin work immediately. Work Schedule: • 3 days per week (1.5 days at one site for emotional and autism support, and 1.5 days at another site).
