THE WORK
As a key member of the Maritime Systems Business Development team, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to grow our business pipeline and capture new opportunities within the Navy and Coast Guard. You'll lead critical pursuit capture activities, support the integration of RMS lines of business, and contribute to the development of long-range strategies. Initial focus will be on developing a Service Life Modernization program for the MH-60R/S platforms. Efforts will initially focus on working with LM and customer reps to provide necessary information to substantiate a Gov't funded R&D program that will modernization the MH-60R Mission and select components of the MH-60 Fleet with potential to lead to new construction MH-60R Helos. Additional scope will include the USCG fleet expansion program as they seek to modernize their MH-60T fleet and bring their entire rotary wing aircraft to the MH-60 platform.

Basic Qualifications:
- 5-10 Years Experience on defense acquisitions (FMS and DCS) both from industry and customer perspective.
- Working technical and domain knowledge about military requirements.
- 5-10 Years experience with business efforts such as opportunity qualification, proposals, campaigns, and strategy planning
- Cross functional team experience on programs and/or proposals
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken with emphasis on the Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of potential international customers and demonstrated customer relations skills.
- Awareness of the DoD budgeting and acquisition process.
- Team Player - effective at organizing and motivating a diverse set of individuals in pursuit of common objectives.
- Strong capture leadership skills with demonstrated ability to work cross Lines of Business and even across different Business Areas
- Ability to manage New Business Funds
- Executive presence / comms skillls - ability to brief customer / LM leadership
- 15+ years experience; experience with major program captures ($500M+). Platform Capture (Ships / Aircraft) experience preferred
