Here, you will make an impact by:
- Ensures MFG orders and finished goods are prepared, packaged, and labeled correctly according to customer orders and original promised dates.
- Posts inventory movements in PMCS and processes parcel shipments using UPS World Ship and FedEx online.
- Prepares and monitors shipping documents such as Bill of Lading, Packing Slips, and Export Documents, ensuring outgoing shipments are packed into appropriate containers or pallets.
- Strives for 100% order accuracy, preventing non-conformances, and coordinates the movement of shipments from Packaging to Shipping.
- Monitors and maintains work areas and packaging supplies, ensuring they are safe, clean, organized, and properly stocked, and operates PIVs including the Work Assist Vehicle.
- High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution
- Available for weekend work, working overtime, rotating shifts, and/or short notice shift coverage
- Combined experience in manufacturing, quality, packaging, warehouse, and/or shipping & receiving experience in private, public, government or military environment.
- Obtain certification to operate PIVs to include WAV within one (1)-month of starting the position
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in manufacturing and/or warehouse in a private, public, government, or military environment
- Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing work environment
- Ability to communicate, oral and written, effectively
- Experience handling hazardous waste material
- Follows written and verbal instructions.
- PMCS/OPRA proficient.
- ERC & USS proficient.
- Good attendance record with flexibility in accommodating production demands.
- Fleet Safety Training & Forklift Certified.
