Job Title: Account Specialist - Amazon Inbound Transportation
About the Role
The Amazon Inbound Transportation team is rapidly expanding and seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Specialist to improve the shipper experience for vendors and sellers who ship with Amazon Inbound Transportation. This role involves working directly with shippers to create solutions, taking action to improve shipper performance metrics, and driving innovation within transportation and logistics. We focus on learning, innovating, and being customer-focused, with a direct line of engagement with our vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, verify, and present data daily
- Overcome transportation disruptions and other barriers in real time
- Identify transportation defect root causes
- Maintain Daily logs on assigned shippers
- Lead weekly calls with assigned shippers
- Lead daily business review stand up calls
A Day in the Life As an Account Specialist, you will work closely with shippers to resolve issues and assist them in remaining compliant with Amazon standards. You will also be responsible for communicating at a high level with various stakeholders, teams, partners, and services.
Requirements
- 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel) experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Be 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of SQL
