Summary

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team at Abilene Tech. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our clients, ensuring their IT systems operate smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining our reputation for high-quality service. Responsibilities • Provide first-line technical support for hardware and software issues. • Assist clients with troubleshooting and resolving IT-related problems. • Manage and maintain operating systems, including Windows and Linux environments. • Utilize help desk software to track and resolve support tickets efficiently. • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions. • Conduct routine maintenance on computer hardware and software systems. • Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery processes. Requirements • Proven experience in a help desk or IT support role. • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. • Familiarity with various operating systems, particularly Windows and Linux. • Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and management. • Knowledge of software troubleshooting methodologies is essential. • Familiarity with RMM platforms and various IT Management tools is a plus.
