Junior Experiential Developer

We’re seeking an Experiential Developer to join our team. As an Experiential Developer, you will develop, maintain and deploy applications for live events around the world. While primarily working with web development technologies, you’ll also need to adapt and learn new tools to bring new experiences to life. Most importantly, we’re looking for passionate developers eager to grow and expand their skill sets. Roles and Responsibilities • Develop high-quality code to meet project requirements • Maintain and support applications for live events and trade shows • Complete assigned tasks on time and with attention to detail • Implement feedback from senior members of the team • Follow company coding standards and best practices • Participate in project kickoffs, daily stand-ups, and review meetings • Occasionally travel to event locations for deployment and support What you need to succeed • Strong ability to follow instructions and ask meaningful, clarifying questions • High aptitude and enthusiasm for learning new technologies • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to demonstrate and explain code you’ve developed • A focus on meeting project and client needs effectively Required Qualifications • 1+ years of experience developing software in any programming language • 1+ years of experience with Git for version control Preferred Experience • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Development, or a related field • Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Vue.js) • Experience working with databases • Familiarity with Cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS • Self-guided project experience demonstrating initiative and problem-solving • Experience working in an agency environment or with client-driven projects How performance will be measured • Collaboration & Teamwork: Effective contribution within the development team • Technical Growth: Demonstrated improvement in core programming and deployment skills • Proficiency in Related Tech: Increasing ability to work with new tools & frameworks • Adaptability & Initiative: Ability to self-teach and quickly learn new technologies • Impact on Projects: Successfully deployed applications and problem-solving effectiveness Life at CLUTCH • Complimentary Drinks and Coffee • Open, Collaborative Work Environment • Dog-Friendly Office – Bring your well-behaved, friendly pup to work! • Medical, dental, and vision • Guardian Life Insurance & Disability Coverage • Voya 401(k) Plan • Flexible Time Off This job description is intended to outline those functions typically performed by individuals assigned to this classification.
