As an Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for building relationships with clients, guiding them through the insurance process, and ensuring they receive the best coverage options available. Responsibilities • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs. • Communicate effectively with clients to explain various insurance products and services. • Conduct thorough assessments of client needs to recommend appropriate coverage options. • Negotiate terms and conditions of insurance policies to meet client requirements. • Manage sales administration tasks, including maintaining accurate records and documentation. • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the policy lifecycle, addressing any inquiries or concerns. • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and changes in HIPAA compliance to ensure best practices. • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance sales skills and product knowledge. Qualifications • Proven experience in insurance sales or related fields such as retail sales or customer service. • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decisions positively. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on building rapport with clients. • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse clientele. • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations is a plus. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. • A valid insurance license is required or must be obtained within a specified timeframe after hiring.
