SR QA ENGINEER Coppell, TX CTH About The Job: • This is a temporary assignment with the option for full-time placement. We are looking for a Sr QA Engineer for a 6+month contract position. Qualified candidates will have a strong background in software quality assurance and data and will be responsible for providing testing support for client applications. What You ll Do: • Design, create and implement test plans to ensure compliance with product specifications and end-user requirements. • Develop, execute and maintain test plans for validating data migration. Perform data integrity and accuracy checks across source and target databases. • Work with product stakeholders to create test scenarios and test scripts. Collaborate with development, BSA and PMO groups and establish effective communication. • Develop End-to-End test plans including integration testing with third-party vendors to perform system testing. • Identify issues and raise bugs for functional and regression testing cycles as needed. • Provide test run reports to communicate testing progress and status. • Document complex technical issues and track resolution. • Able to work independently and partner with other team members as needed, meet deadlines and demonstrate effective problem-solving capabilities.

Qualifications

You ll Need: Must Have: • 7+ years of experience in a Sr QA Engineer role with hands-on experience in functional testing. • Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries and joins. • Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and ETL testing. • Proven experience in test automation with a focus on database validation. • Experience in using a Test Management tool to create and maintain requirement-based test suites. • Strong communication skills- be an advocate for quality. • Technical fluency ability to articulate issues effectively and learn new systems as needed. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Great to Have: • Experience with Azure DevOps- configuring repositories, builds and pipelines for automation runs. • Experience in Playwright or other automation test tools. • Domain knowledge in financial applications is a plus.
