TRIO Tutor and Driver

Title of Position TRIO Tutor and Driver Department TRIO Upward Bound Hours per Week 10-12 Job Qualifications Must have a driver's license and pass the ACU driving certification. Position Description/ Job Duties Upward Bound tutors will provide one-on-one and/or small group tutoring services to Upward Bound students (disadvantaged high school students). This position also looks for students who will be available to drive Upward Bound van to transport students to and from tutoring.

• Tutor Students on individual bases or in small groups.
• Develop tutoring plan with students to gauge academic progress through tutoring sessions. Maintain
• communication with Upward Bound staff and attend tutor training sessions.
• Tutors may be asked to drive 11 passenger vans if eligible (ability for extra hours)

Preferred Availability Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and occasional Thursday. 3-4 hours per day.
