EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE -Must have high school diploma or equivalent - A medical background is very helpful QUALIFICATIONS - Must communicate and work well with your fellow employees, patients, customers and other healthcare professionals. - Knowledgeable of equipment and product line and willingness to learn new technologies. - Maintain confidentiality of patient files. - Participate in monthly staff meetings and in-services. - Maintain professional appearance and attitude. - Must be computer literate. - Must have good telephone skills. - Must be detail oriented. - Must be able to prioritize various tasks. RESPONSIBILITIES - Assist with coordinating sales, inventory and assembly of equipment and supplies. - Must be able to obtain insurance verifications, produce CMNs, and professional letters and quotes. - Prepares authorization requests for Medicaid and other funding agencies to assure proper paperwork is included in the request. - Reviews all returned CMN/LMN and authorizations to determine that the paperwork is complete, and we will be paid appropriately.
