About the position The Provider Connectivity Professional 2 plays a crucial role in providing analysis and support for complex Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)-related issues, ensuring effective communication and data exchange between internal and external customers. This position requires independent decision-making and a strong understanding of organizational strategies, as well as the ability to respond to complex inquiries from various stakeholders. The role is essential in maintaining the integrity of data exchanges related to authorizations, eligibility, and benefits, while adapting to ongoing business needs. Responsibilities • Provide analysis and support for complex EDI-related issues. , • Respond to complex inquiries from providers, vendors, and internal departments. , • Interpret and determine appropriate courses of action for work assignments. , • Follow established guidelines and procedures while making independent decisions. , • Communicate results and make recommendations based on identified trends. Requirements • Minimum of an Associate's degree. , • Strong knowledge of Microsoft products including Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint. , • Experience working with EDI systems. , • Experience building reports using tools like Excel, Power BI, or similar data software. , • Ability to work independently in a self-guided environment. , • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. , • Flexibility and adaptability to support ongoing business needs. Nice-to-haves • Experience in HIPAA X12 transactions; Eligibility & Benefits and Referrals. , • Knowledge of SharePoint. , • Experience working with healthcare-related data (Insurance, Clinical, Provider, Managed care, etc.). , • Strong knowledge of SQL, Access, and Visio. , • Experience building reports in SSRS, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools. , • Experience querying and extracting data from various data sources.
