Sr Data Analyst(Remote Or Hybrid)

About the position The Sr. Data Analyst position at Target focuses on contributing to the supply chain strategy and performance through data analysis and collaboration. This role is part of the Field Operations Steering team, which aims to drive data-driven decisions and improve key metrics within the supply chain. The analyst will work in an agile environment, managing complex relationships and providing insights that impact both team members and guests. Responsibilities • Contribute to Supply Chain problem solving with a focus on expense and efficiency. , • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the GSCL to drive data driven decisions, and influence change. , • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights in supply chain performance. , • Mentoring and developing less experienced analysts on the team. , • Development of impactful visualizations and insights and be able to communicate them to business partners in a clear, compelling manner. , • Build expertise in Data capabilities and integrate with business partners and other data teams to accelerate the product development lifecycle. Requirements • Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of experience in supply chain management, data analytics, or a related field. , • Experience gathering and analyzing datasets with various coding languages (python, SQL, R), with an interest in further developing these skills. , • Experience with Target's database and reporting platforms such as Greenfield or BigRed. , • Ability to work under ambiguous direction with comfortability self-directing, self-motivating, and figuring out the optimal path forward.
