As a Senior Cloud Bookkeeper, you'll play a critical role in managing day-to-day bookkeeping and finance tasks for our clients. This part-time opportunity is ideal for US and Canadian-based individuals seeking a balance between their professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day operations for clients, including transaction entry, invoicing, bill payments, payroll preparation, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Utilize Karbon, our practice management system, to manage work across multiple clients and stay organized.
• Interact with clients to answer specific questions or request information, while maintaining excellent communication skills and building strong relationships.
• Collaborate with senior staff to ensure seamless client service and ask questions when needed to clarify tasks or procedures.
• Prioritize tasks and manage deadlines across multiple clients, demonstrating an awareness of what needs to be prioritized.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A college degree and experience in accounting, payroll, and bookkeeping in a multi-client environment.
• Proficiency in cloud accounting technologies, with at least 2 years of experience running payroll, paying bills, and handling day-to-day transactional duties with clients in multiple industries.
• Experience with QBO, Bill.com, Gusto, or other payroll software.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members across digital channels.
• Humility and openness to coaching and critiques, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, integrity, and dependability.
• A positive attitude and joyful demeanor in all communications, both internally and externally.
• Persistence and the ability to politely remind others to stay on track.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Additional experience in cloud accounting technologies or related software.
• A proven track record of managing multiple clients and prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Experience working in a 100% remote environment.
