This fully remote role allows you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students while working from the comfort of your home. Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs. Collaborate with families, educators, and support staff to enhance student learning and development. Utilize technology and innovative teaching methods to engage students effectively. Qualifications: Valid certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Illinois. Prior experience working with deaf and hard-of-hearing students is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Requirements: Liability insurance is required. This position is offered as a 1099 contracted role.
