In this role, you will process prior authorization requests, verify insurance coverage, and collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure timely approvals. Position: Remote Medical Insurance Specialist Pay: $17/hr. Full-time with Weekly Pay plus Benefits Schedule: 8am-8pm CST. M-Fri (8hr Shift between these hours) Equipment Provided Start Date: November 2024 Job Duties • Submit and track prior authorization requests via Inbound and outbound calls. • Verify patients medical insurance eligibility and coverage. • Communicate with providers and insurers regarding patients to ensure compliance. • Maintain accurate records of approvals and denials. Qualifications: MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR OR MORE OF MEDICAL BENEFITS EXPERIENCE (NO EXCEPTIONS) • Call center experience preferred but not required • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance policies • Experience in healthcare or insurance is preferred • Strong organizational and multitasking skills • Excellent communication abilities Join us to help ensure patients get the care they need!
