Distinguished Engineer - Cloud Systems

Verizon is currently seeking an experienced and innovative individual to join our team as a Distinguished Engineer - Cloud Systems. This dynamic role will leverage your expertise in cloud systems to help us develop and deliver cutting-edge solutions to our customers.You will collaborate with a team of passionate engineers to create and maintain services and infrastructure related to cloud... systems, as well as develop strategies and processes to ensure the highest levels of reliability, scalability, and performance.The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in cloud systems, as well as excellent communication skills. If you’re driven by a desire to take on challenging projects and make a positive impact on the future of cloud systems, we want to hear from you!Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field• 5+ years of experience in developing and implementing cloud systems• Expert knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, Ruby, and Bash Responsibilities: Develop and maintain services and infrastructure related to cloud systems. Develop strategies and processes to ensure the highest levels of reliability, scalability, and performance. Research and evaluate emerging cloud technologies for potential use in our systems. Collaborate with a team of engineers to design and implement cloud solutions. Troubleshoot and debug complex cloud system issues. Monitor system performance and make improvements as necessary. Create detailed documentation and diagrams for cloud systems. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors. Provide training and guidance to team members on cloud system technologies.
