Pharmacy Technician Instructor Goode Education Group Private Career School has launched a Pharmacy Technician course for individuals interested in entering this field and securing positions as Pharmacy Technicians... Are you a Pharmacy Technician or experienced Pharmacy Technician Instructor that has trained and led others? We are recruiting for an Online, Zoom based Instructor. This new course is directed at those who have never worked within the medical or pharmaceutical field and are interested in entering this scope of work, those who need a prerequisite and for those who wish to transition into a new career path. Our course prepares students for the CPhT Certification Exam. Components of instruction include but are not limited to: Pharmacy Technician Overview Laws, Regulations, and Controlled Substances Medication Classifications Prescription and Medication Order Intake and Entry Preparing and Dispensing Prescriptions Calculations Sterile and Nonsterile Products, Compounding, Unit Dose, and Repackaging Medication Safety and Quality Assurance As the Instructor, you will partner with our students to gain foundational knowledge to successfully complete this course and pass the CPhT exam. Career readiness, interview skills, cover letter and resume creation are also included on Fridays with a separate Instructor allowing you to have a 4 day Instruction week with most Fridays off. Hours of instruction are 9am-12 noon EST and 6pm-9pm EST with required office hours during the week between 1pm-2pm. About you: Certified CPhT Background/experience as a Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, Medical Teacher/ Instructor Teaching/Training/Coaching experience preferred Familiarity with the National Healthcareer Association coursework preferred Excellent communication with an ability to transfer your experience into knowledge for all students Ability to evaluate students to solve challenges Tech savvy Design lessons to supplement student learning platform Daily attendance reporting and support in accountability for student hours Our school operates on a rolling admissions process; Instructor must be well organized and willing to make adjustments Submissions without a role specific cover letter will not be considered.
