Job Description
As a Commercial Pilot at SkyBound Airways, you will operate our fleet of aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring that all operations comply with FAA regulations and company policies. Your role will be critical in maintaining our reputation for punctual, comfortable, and safe flights. You will collaborate with the flight crew to monitor weather conditions, aircraft status, and other critical flight information. Effective communication and decision-making skills are essential in this role to manage dynamic in-flight situations.
Responsibilities
– Operate aircraft in accordance with all FAA regulations and company policies.
– Conduct pre-flight inspections and prepare flight plans.
– Communicate effectively with co-pilots, flight attendants, and ground crew to ensure seamless operations.
– Manage in-flight emergencies and unforeseen situations with professionalism and calm.
– Provide excellent customer service, maintaining the safety and comfort of all passengers.
– Continuously update and manage flight logs and other documentation.
– Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
Requirements
– FAA Commercial Pilot License.
– Current First Class Medical Certificate.
– Proven experience as a Commercial Pilot (minimum 2000 flight hours).
– Strong knowledge of FAA regulations related to commercial aviation.
– Ability to pass a rigorous background and drug screening process.
– Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Educational Qualifications
– High School Diploma or equivalent; further training from an FAA-approved flight school is preferred.
– Bachelors degree in Aviation or related field is an advantage.
Experience
– Minimum of 3 years of professional piloting experience, preferably in commercial aviation.
