Job Description
As a United Airlines Flight Attendant, you will be an ambassador of our brand and a front-line service professional dedicated to ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our passengers. Your ability to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a calm, professional demeanor under pressure are crucial.
Responsibilities
– Perform pre-flight safety checks and ensure the aircraft cabin is prepared for flight
– Greet passengers, assist with seating assignments, and provide in-flight information
– Offer food, beverages, and duty-free items
– Assist passengers with special needs, including children, elderly, or those with disabilities
– Administer and coordinate emergency procedures or provide assistance in emergency situations
– Ensure compliance with all FAA regulations
Requirements
– Minimum age of 21 years
– High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
– Ability to reach overhead bins and stand for extended periods
– Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
– Pass a background check and drug screening
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Previous customer service experience preferred
Educational Qualifications
– High School Diploma or GED required
– Further certification in hospitality or related fields is advantageous
Experience
– Prior experience in customer service or hospitality preferred but not mandatory
– Experience in a high-stress or emergency role is highly valued
