Key Responsibilities of the Part-Time Data Entry Clerk

As a Part-Time Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that keep our data systems accurate, current, and reliable. Your day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Database Maintenance and Updates: Continuously maintain and update company databases by entering new customer and account information, modifying existing records, and ensuring all data reflects the most current and accurate information available.
  • Source Data Preparation: Compile, sort, and prepare source documents for computer entry, ensuring that all materials are organized, complete, and ready for efficient processing.
  • Priority Management: Establish entry priorities based on operational needs, processing customer and account source documents in a timely manner while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
  • Data Review and Quality Assurance: Carefully review data for deficiencies, errors, or inconsistencies, and resolve any issues using established standard procedures. Escalate complex issues to relevant team members or supervisors as needed.
  • Accurate Data Input: Enter customer and account data accurately using keyboards, optical scanners, or other input devices, maintaining a steady pace without sacrificing precision.
  • Verification and Correction: Verify entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or re-entering information as necessary to ensure absolute accuracy before finalizing records.
  • Data Integration: Combine data from multiple systems when account information is incomplete, ensuring a unified and comprehensive view of customer records.
  • File Management and De-duplication: Purge files periodically to eliminate duplicate data and maintain a clean, organized database environment.
  • System Testing Support: Assist in testing customer and account system changes and upgrades by inputting new data and providing feedback on functionality and accuracy.

Essential Qualifications
