[Remote] Staff Survivability and Operations Analysis Engineer

Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. The role involves being part of the Archer Defense and Advanced Programs organization, focusing on incubating, marketing, capturing, and executing advanced programs applied to the Archer Defense portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Candidates will be a member of the Archer Defense and Advanced Programs organization and will be part of the team to incubate, market, capture, and execute (technical, cost, and schedule) advanced programs applied to our Archer Defense portfolio
Skills
- 6-10 years' experience in the aerospace or related field
- BS engineering, computer science, physics, or math degree
- Experience with design, analysis, fabrication, and test of survivability technologies (RCS, IR, Acoustics); ASE, and mission systems
- Operations Analysis to include numerous modeling and simulation environments such as AFSIM
- Knowledge of domestic and international threat systems
- Experience leading and working across all engineering, manufacturing, and business disciplines
- Must be US citizens and possess or can obtain a DoD security clearance
- Knowledge of RF, EW/EA, EOIR, acoustic, mission systems, sensors, communications, dynamic and propulsion (electric, hybrid, and gas turbine) systems, CAD, python, MATLAB
- Model Based Systems Engineering, SysML, DoDAF
- Experience with customers
