[Remote] Procurement Operations Coordinator
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Gordian is the world’s leading provider of facility and construction cost data, software, and services for all phases of the building lifecycle. The Procurement Operations Coordinator will support the processing, tracking, and reporting of purchase orders while ensuring procurement workflows run smoothly and client expectations are met.
Responsibilities
- Process, track, and reconcile purchase orders across customer and Gordian systems, ensuring accuracy and alignment to project budgets
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders on PO status, updates, discrepancies, and resolution
- Maintain complete and audit-ready procurement records and documentation to support compliance and financial reporting
- Monitor PO activity across contracts and project portfolios, proactively flagging risks, variances, or delays
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying workflow gaps and recommending process enhancements that improve speed, accuracy, and operational efficiency
- Support internal teams in achieving customer goals and key performance metrics through timely and accurate procurement execution
- Manage competing priorities across multiple projects while maintaining strong client relationships and service delivery standards
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Contract Administration, or Project/Construction Management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer service orientation
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools
- Proficiency in Power BI and/or Smartsheet
- Familiarity with public sector procurement processes
