[Remote] Property Accounting Manager

They are seeking a Property Accounting Manager to oversee the financial reporting and coordination for their residential portfolio, focusing on financial analysis, compliance, and property management.
Responsibilities
- Review of monthly and quarterly property-level financial reporting across an assigned residential portfolio
- Coordination with property managers and third-party accountants on close, variance analysis, and supporting workpapers
- Bank reconciliations, AP review and controls, and day-to-day cash management at the property level
- Onboarding new acquisitions into Yardi — allocation of acquisition costs, debt setup, and entity configuration
- CapEx tracking, lender draws and reporting, and property-level loan covenant compliance
- Supporting the Controller on audit, tax, and ad hoc reporting requests
Skills
- At least 5 years of real estate property accounting experience
- Yardi proficiency required
- Comfortable operating in a lean, sophisticated, remote environment
- Residential real estate background preferred
- Experience with rent-controlled properties is a strong plus
