Key Responsibilities
- Accurate Data Input: Enter, update, and maintain a wide variety of data sets—including shipment records, customer profiles, inventory logs, and financial entries—into arenaflex’s proprietary databases and cloud platforms.
- Data Validation & Reconciliation: Perform routine data quality checks, identify discrepancies, and resolve inconsistencies to uphold the highest standards of data integrity.
- System Monitoring & Issue Resolution: Monitor workstation, server, and network performance; troubleshoot hardware and software issues (including printers, operating systems, and specialized applications such as SPLUS, ETPS2, and E2K).
- Security & Compliance: Handle confidential information with strict adherence to data protection policies, encryption standards, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with IT support teams, operations managers, and remote colleagues to investigate data‑related problems and implement corrective actions.
- Reporting & Documentation: Generate regular status reports on data entry progress, error rates, and system health; document procedures for future reference and training.
- Continuous Improvement: Suggest enhancements to data entry workflows, automation opportunities, and best‑practice guidelines to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Travel Flexibility: While the role is primarily remote, occasional travel to arenaflex hubs in TXALG, TXDFW, or TXDAL may be required for on‑site training or system upgrades.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry, information technology, or a related field is strongly preferred (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional, ITIL Foundation).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry, data processing, or a similar administrative role, preferably within a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- Demonstrated ability to type at least 70 words per minute with a high degree of accuracy (≤2 errors per 100 words).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with database management tools (SQL, Access, or similar).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey technical information clearly to non‑technical audiences.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities; capable of prioritizing multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines.
- Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, yet collaborative when part of a remote team.
- Basic understanding of network fundamentals, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and troubleshooting procedures.
Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience with specialized logistics software (e.g., SPLUS, ETPS2, E2K) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Knowledge of data security best practices, encryption tools, and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with remote collaboration platforms such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA).
- Prior exposure to process automation tools (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate) is a plus.
- Ability to provide tier‑1 technical support to internal users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
