Position Overview

The Remote Student Success Coach is a pivotal member of arenaflex’s student services team. Working from the comfort of your home office, you will serve as a trusted advisor, mentor, and advocate for a portfolio of enrolled students. Your daily interactions—primarily via phone, email, and our internal communication platforms—will guide learners through enrollment, academic challenges, career planning, and personal development. This role is full‑time, 40 hours per week, with a schedule that aligns with arenaflex’s operating hours (Monday‑Thursday 8 am – 7 pm CDT; Friday & Saturday 8 am – 5 pm CDT). We welcome candidates from any time zone who can meet these coverage requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Student Outreach & Coaching: Conduct proactive, scheduled outreach (phone calls, video chats, and written communications) to engage each assigned student, monitor progress, and provide personalized guidance throughout their degree program.
  • Enrollment & Retention Support: Assist prospective and current students with enrollment processes, course selection, and registration, ensuring a seamless transition from admission to active study.
  • Academic Advising: Explain arenaflex’s academic policies, degree requirements, and graduation timelines; help students develop realistic study plans and time‑management strategies.
  • Resource Navigation: Introduce learners to campus resources—library services, tutoring centers, technical support, and career services—so they can fully leverage the tools available to them.
  • Resume & Career Development: Earn certification as a professional resume reviewer and provide resume critiques, interview preparation, and career‑path counseling.
  • Liaison Functions: Act as the primary point of contact between students and internal departments (financial aid, admissions, IT, and faculty), facilitating timely resolutions to inquiries and concerns.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Accurately document all student interactions in arenaflex’s CRM system, track key performance indicators, and contribute to quarterly retention analytics.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current on higher‑education trends, technical platforms, and best practices in student support to continuously improve service quality.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (or international equivalent) recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in academic support, admissions counseling, customer service, human resources, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of academic policies, degree pathways, and student lifecycle management.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a warm, professional phone demeanor.
  • Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail when documenting student interactions.
  • Ability to quickly master new technical tools, learning management systems, and CRM platforms.
