Key Responsibilities

As the IT Site Director, you will be the cornerstone of our Dallas technology hub. Your day‑to‑day duties will include:

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring all hardware, software, and network components function smoothly.
  • Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex application, hardware, and network problems, maintaining a rapid response time for critical tickets.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Create detailed documentation of incidents, root‑cause analyses, and corrective actions to improve service quality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with local and remote IT Support Engineers, managers, and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Refine IT processes and policies for the Service Delivery team, aligning them with the broader objectives of the regional Operations group.
  • Project Leadership: Lead infrastructure projects such as network upgrades, data‑cabling installations, and system migrations across diverse hardware and software environments.
  • Strategic Planning: Partner with senior leadership to design, propose, and implement cost‑effective technology solutions that support rapid business growth.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure optimal performance.
  • On‑Call Support: Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation, providing emergency assistance and rapid incident response when needed.
  • Travel & Physical Requirements: Occasionally travel up to 25% of the time and lift equipment up to 50 lb as part of routine duties.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience delivering technical support in a Service Delivery environment.
  • Professional certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, or MCITP (or equivalent).
  • Hands‑on experience with arenaflex RF devices (e.g., arenaflex MC9190, VC6090, WT41N0).
  • Strong knowledge of arenaflex Server, arenaflex Office, and arenaflex Windows environments.
  • Deep understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP protocols.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate IT support teams in high‑pressure settings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of interacting with peers, management, vendors, and customers.
  • Experience managing vendor contracts, service outages, and SLA‑driven environments.
  • Ability to stand or walk for 10‑12 hours per shift and work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Advanced troubleshooting expertise in multi‑client, high‑stress environments.
  • Familiarity with arenaflex CCNA‑level networking concepts.
  • Experience with arenaflex MobiControl device management solutions.
  • Background in data‑cabling installation and maintenance of PC workstations.
  • Demonstrated success in driving IT support initiatives that improve ticket resolution times and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining alignment with corporate goals.
