As part of our rapid expansion, arenaflex is investing heavily in talent that can drive operational excellence from anywhere in the United States. Whether you thrive in a bustling airport hub or prefer the focus of a home office, we offer a dynamic, inclusive environment where your contributions directly impact the safety, efficiency, and delight of our global customers.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, detail‑oriented Remote Data Entry Specialist to support our Catering Operations & Logistics teams. In this role, you will serve as the critical link between ground‑level catering partners, airport operations, and internal stakeholders, ensuring that all data related to menu planning, inventory, compliance, and performance metrics is captured accurately, processed promptly, and reported in a format that drives actionable insights.

This is a full‑time, work‑from‑home position based in the United States, with occasional requirements to attend virtual meetings across multiple time zones and, if needed, brief on‑site visits at major arenaflex hubs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Capture & Validation: Enter, verify, and maintain high‑volume data sets—including catering orders, inventory levels, equipment usage, and compliance records—using arenaflex’s proprietary logistics platforms.
  • Performance Reporting: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance dashboards that track key operational metrics such as on‑time delivery, waste reduction, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Process Improvement: Identify data anomalies, root‑cause issues, and opportunities for process optimization; collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Compliance Support: Ensure all data entries adhere to HACCP, PCQI, and arenaflex Food Safety Standards, supporting internal audits and external regulatory inspections.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between catering vendors, airport operations, In‑Flight Services, and the Corporate Business Services team, providing timely updates and clarifications.
  • Inventory Management Assistance: Track and reconcile inventory of kitchen equipment, food, and beverages; conduct spot checks and flag discrepancies for further investigation.
  • Project Coordination: Support the rollout of new menu initiatives and service enhancements by maintaining accurate project timelines, resource allocations, and status reports.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor cost drivers related to catering supplies and equipment, providing insights that help reduce waste and control expenses.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in regular training sessions on data analytics tools, aviation logistics, and food safety protocols to stay current with industry best practices.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Aviation, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in data entry, logistics coordination, or operations support within a regulated environment (aviation, food service, or manufacturing).
  • Proven ability to manage large data sets with a high degree of accuracy; familiarity with ERP or MRP systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting performance metrics and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and PowerPoint.
  • Self‑starter who can work independently while also thriving in collaborative, cross‑functional teams.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, to support 24/7 airport operations.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Master’s degree or professional certifications in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or Project Management.
  • Experience with aviation catering, airport logistics, or airline operations.
  • Certifications such as HACCP, PCQI, or other food safety credentials.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and basic SQL querying.
  • Multilingual abilities—especially Spanish or Mandarin—to support diverse vendor networks.
  • Demonstrated project leadership on process‑improvement initiatives.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Attention to Detail: Precision in data entry and a relentless focus on accuracy.
  • Problem‑Solving: Ability to diagnose data inconsistencies and propose effective solutions.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Adaptability: Comfort navigating a fast‑paced, ever‑changing aviation environment.
  • Integrity: Commitment to upholding safety, compliance, and ethical standards.
