[Remote] IAM Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Base-2 Solutions is seeking an IAM Engineer to support USSOUTHCOM J26 ENHANCED DOMAIN AWARENESS task order. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions within secure cloud and on-premises environments, specializing in CAC authentication and AD integration.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage IAM solutions within secure cloud and on-premises environments
- Specialize in CAC authentication, Active Directory integration, and Microsoft Entra Conditional Access (CBA)
- Utilize authentication protocols including SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect
- Implement role-based access control (RBAC), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and identity federation across hybrid environments
- Apply strong knowledge of DoD IL2, IL4, and IL5 security frameworks and compliance standards
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, or a related field OR a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience in IAM engineering
- Demonstrated experience designing and managing IAM frameworks in cloud environments such as AWS and Azure
- Experience configuring identity governance tools and implementing zero-trust architecture models
- Experience with tools such as Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Okta, Ping Identity, or AWS IAM
- Active Secret
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- AWS Certified Security – Specialty
- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
