[Remote] Agile Project Manager Contractor

Deloitte is a leading professional services firm, and they are seeking an Agile Delivery Contractor to support their project team in delivering agile initiatives. This role involves facilitating Scrum ceremonies, tracking project progress, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders while working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support delivery of agile projects in alignment with project goals, timelines, and business priorities
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Track sprint progress, delivery milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies across workstreams
- Communicate project status, updates, blockers, and action items to stakeholders in a timely manner
- Promote adherence to Agile, Scrum, and Kanban principles and team best practices
- Coordinate team activities to support work completion within timeboxed sprints
- Maintain visibility into backlog progress, sprint commitments, and delivery outcomes
- Support collaboration across business, product, and IT teams in a multi-team environment
- Apply independent judgment to determine appropriate actions within established guidelines and procedures
- Contribute to a team environment focused on continuous improvement of consumer experiences
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Up to 5 years of experience with the SDLC
- Strong communication, collaboration, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
- High emotional intelligence and ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment or strong familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Experience supporting work across multiple teams
- Ability to work independently in ambiguous situations while following established guidelines and procedures
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies
- Working knowledge of agile project management tools
- Experience working with IT teams
- Experience planning and coordinating project activities
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Prior insurance operations experience
- Prior experience in the health solutions industry
- Scrum certification preferred
