[Remote] Senior Systems Administrator (Okta)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Connected Logistics is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator (Okta) to support DLA's Information Operations J62FG, which focuses on application development and sustainment of identity-related programs. The role involves ensuring the stable operation of DLA’s Okta environments and directing the work of other system administrators for day-to-day system administration tasks.
Responsibilities
- Organizes and directs the configuration and operation of DLA’s Okta
- Analyzes and resolves end user software program and connectivity issues
- Conducts capacity and performance analysis and provides system configuration change and upgrade recommendations
- Increases system administrator efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts, develops system administrator procedures, and conducts system administrator training and skills assessment
- Provides end user training
- Provides recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision
- Provides local and remote maintenance support to various operational systems within the DLA Okta footprint
- Applies advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing applications, and ensuring fault tolerance
- Supports general maintenance, upgrades, and new installs of servers and applications
Skills
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Possess five (5) years of overall professional experience supporting Okta environments with progressively higher responsibility in the IT field
- Possess demonstrable experience deploying and maintaining Okta environments for large enterprises
- Personnel will also be well-versed in configuring Okta integrations to work with typical enterprise technologies like Active Directory, firewalls, APIs, Zero Trust endpoints, etc
- Possess a relevant Okta certification from a nationally recognized technical authority, such as Okta
- Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at time of proposal submission
- Possess excellent analytical and writing skills
- Possess Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.) knowledge
- Possess experience working with DoD/DLA
