Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

• Greeting customers and providing a warm welcome to our store
• Operating the register, handling cash and credit transactions, and maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Making purchase suggestions and offering personalized recommendations to customers
• Working with our food program to provide a seamless shopping experience
• Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, both inside and out
• Providing fast and friendly service to customers, resolving issues promptly and professionally
• Interacting with customers daily, building relationships, and understanding their needs
• Collaborating with the sales team to achieve daily sales goals and targets
• Participating in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging shopping experience
• Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and staying up-to-date on promotions and sales

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous retail and customer service experience, preferably in a sales associate or cashiering role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
• Physical stamina to stand and walk for up to 8 hours, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform other physical demands of the job

Preferred Qualifications

* Retail and sales experience, preferably in a convenience store or similar environment

• Experience working with a point-of-sale system and handling cash and credit transactions
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and make change accurately
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
• High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on sales and marketing
