Responsibilities
As an Airline Supervisor Customer Service Professional, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and coordinating passenger service operations to ensure seamless and efficient delivery of services
- Ensuring compliance with company rules, regulations, and safety standards to maintain a safe and secure work environment
- Monitoring and evaluating staff performance to identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback
- Providing training and development to subordinates to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Maintaining customer satisfaction, safety, security, and employee relations through effective communication and problem-solving
- Administering fair and respectful practices for all staff and third parties to promote a positive and inclusive work environment
Minimum Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following minimum requirements:
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and days off, to meet the demands of our 24/7 operations
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to read, write, and fluently speak and understand the English language to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence to maintain accurate records and communicate with stakeholders
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Reports to work on a regular and timely basis to maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency
- Cognitive skills to set priorities and use independent judgment to make informed decisions
Preferred Skills
While not required, the following preferred skills will be beneficial in this role:
- Ability to compute rate, percent, and interpret bar graphs to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to resolve complex issues
- Ability to interpret extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables to perform complex tasks
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization to communicate key messages and build relationships
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
As an Airline Supervisor Customer Service Professional, you'll be required to:
- Lift 70 pounds to perform tasks such as lifting heavy equipment or luggage
- Handle stress and pressure to meet deadlines and resolve complex issues
- Work in a high noise level environment, such as an airport, to maintain focus and productivity
- Work with minimal supervision to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities
