Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for a range of key tasks, including:
- Reading and interpreting customer and shipping orders, as well as other source documents, to accurately enter data into our computer systems
- Verifying data for accuracy and consistency, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and correctly formatted
- Utilizing Microsoft Excel to key data into specific fields, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Performing administrative duties, including filing, copying, and other tasks, to support the smooth operation of our team
- Collaborating with colleagues to identify and resolve data errors or anomalies, and reporting any issues to supervisors in a timely manner
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess a range of essential skills and qualifications, including:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent reading comprehension, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Patience and attention to detail, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and efficiency
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, we're looking for candidates who possess the following preferred qualifications:
- Reading knowledge of English and Spanish (approximately 5-10% of orders are in Spanish)
- 1-2 years of experience in data entry and/or filing
- Social perceptiveness and service orientation, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
