Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced CPC Processor Customer Support Specialist to join our remote call center team. As a key member of our customer support team, you'll be responsible for processing medical record requests by taking calls from patients, insurance companies, and attorneys to provide medical record status. You'll also be documenting information in multiple platforms using two computer monitors and be proficient in Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel).

Responsibilities:

* Process medical record requests by taking calls from patients, insurance companies, and attorneys to provide medical record status

  • Document information in multiple platforms using two computer monitors
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel)
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume production environment
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, insurance companies, and attorneys
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and concerns
  • Meet productivity and quality standards
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to improve skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications:

* 1-2 years of experience in a customer support or call center environment

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel)
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain any necessary certifications or clearances

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in a healthcare or medical records setting

  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) or medical records software
  • Certification in medical records or a related field (e.g., CPC, CMC)
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills

* Estimated base pay range per hour: $15-$18.32 USD
