Accounting Generalist
Quest Food Management Services is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment and providing high-quality meals made from fresh ingredients. They are seeking an Accounting Generalist to perform routine clerical tasks, manage accounting records, and assist with financial reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Conducts routine data entry management for accounting records including accounts payable, billing, and accounts receivable
- Reviews billing statements, invoices, and similar documents for accuracy; alerts supervisory staff of any discrepancies
- Support duties related to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Assist with the preparation of financial and statistical statements and reports
- Analyze financial information to identify discrepancies
- Assist the Accounting Department staff as needed
Skills
- Associate's degree in accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or a similar field
- Ability to accurately and efficiently enter data into computer software and systems
- Basic mathematical skills
- Good verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Bachelor's degree
- Bookkeeping training
