Job Summary

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be the face of arenaflex, delivering an outstanding customer experience that's tailored to each individual's needs. You'll work closely with our customers to understand their concerns, provide personalized support, and help them navigate the complexities of health insurance enrollment. Your expertise, empathy, and problem-solving skills will make a significant impact on our customers' lives, and we're excited to have you join our team.

Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service experience consistently, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Managing customer accounts, providing technical support, and interpreting and following defined procedures and policies
  • Entering application data accurately and efficiently, ensuring that customer information is up-to-date and secure
  • Participating in online chat inquiries as assigned, responding to customer messages, and providing timely support
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues, escalating concerns when necessary
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and arenaflex's products and services
  • Participating in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., business, communications, or customer service) preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, technical support, or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide creative solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team
  • Reliable internet connection, with a minimum speed of 35 mb/s and a hard-wired ethernet connection
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices a plus

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in customer support or technical support role
  • Previous experience with Group and/or Individual health insurance, or the Affordable Care Act
  • Previous experience in a Call Center environment
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Spanish Bilingual, a plus
