Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Retail Store Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
  • Assisting customers in person and over the phone by determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services
  • Building productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers
  • Processing sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures
  • Following and achieving sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
  • Maintaining precise work order files and formulas
  • Pulling appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse
  • Tinting and mixing products, as needed, to customer specifications
  • Stocking shelves and setting up displays
  • Cleaning store equipment
  • Loading/unloading delivery trucks
  • Assisting in making deliveries, as needed
  • Maintaining in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
  • Remaining knowledgeable on products offered and discussing available options
  • Complying with inventory control procedures
  • Suggesting ways to improve sales

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A minimum of 18 years of age
  • The ability to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • The ability to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
  • The willingness to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will make you a strong candidate for this role:

  • A valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • A High School diploma or GED
  • At least one year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
  • Previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
  • The ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
  • The ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
