Associate Attorney
Keystone Law Group is a forward-thinking probate law firm seeking a talented Associate Attorney to enhance their dynamic trust and estate litigation team. The role involves conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and assisting with litigation matters from inception through trial, while providing superior client service.
Responsibilities
- Research legal issues for trust and estate litigation matters
- Draft pleadings, discovery, memorandums, motions and other legal documents
- Assist with trust and estate litigation matters from inception through trial
- Make court appearances in the probate courts
- Assist with probate administrations from initiation of proceedings to discharge of personal representative
- Assist with conservatorship or guardianship matters from initiation of proceedings to representation of conservators or guardians for the duration of these matters
- Other projects, as assigned
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Must possess extreme attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment
- At least 1-3 years of demonstrated litigation experience in probate law
- Strong academic record; law review membership highly preferred
- CA Bar membership required
- Law review membership highly preferred
