Key Responsibilities

As a Portuguese Speaking Airline Customer Service Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that airline passengers receive the highest level of service and support. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing outstanding customer service to airline passengers in Portuguese, addressing their inquiries, and resolving their concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assisting customers with questions regarding bookings, cancellations, and travel-related concerns, ensuring that they receive the support they need for a smooth travel experience.
  • Efficiently resolving customer complaints and issues to ensure satisfaction, utilizing effective problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
  • Communicating important flight information, policies, and updates clearly to customers, ensuring that they are well-informed and up-to-date.
  • Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and transactions for quality assurance, ensuring that customer feedback is captured and utilized to improve service delivery.
  • Collaborating with team members to continuously improve service delivery, sharing best practices, and contributing to a culture of excellence.
  • Staying updated on airline offerings and industry trends to provide informed assistance, ensuring that customers receive the most accurate and up-to-date information.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Fluency in Portuguese is essential, with proficiency in English also required.
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the airline or travel industry, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to thrive in a remote work environment, with strong organizational skills and a high level of self-motivation.
  • Familiarity with airline booking systems and customer relationship management software is a plus, but not essential.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Previous experience working in a call center or customer service environment, with a focus on resolving customer complaints and issues.
  • Familiarity with airline industry software and systems, including Sabre, Amadeus, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) software, such as Salesforce or similar platforms.
  • Certification in customer service, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or similar certifications.
