We're currently seeking a highly skilled Data Entry Associate to join our remote team. As a Data Entry Associate at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in gathering, preparing, and entering alphabetic and numeric data from various source documents into our computer system for storage, processing, and data management purposes.

Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Associate at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering, organizing, and preparing source documents for data entry into our system database
  • Reviewing data for discrepancies, missing pages, or information and resolving discrepancies using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution
  • Entering both alphabetic and numeric data from source documents into the proper system database
  • Reviewing data entered against the original source documents for accuracy and correcting any data entry errors or duplications
  • Following data program security practices and procedures at all times
  • Routinely securing information by completing database backup daily
  • Performing other varied clerical duties such as sorting, filing, emailing, and proofreading as required
  • Maintaining confidentiality of all personal and financial information at all times and in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Qualifications

To be successful as a Data Entry Associate at arenaflex, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be able to achieve 8,000 or higher on a 10-key test. Preferably above 10,000
  • A minimum of 6 months related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Experience in a medical office preferred
  • Must possess complete knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone
  • Must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet
  • Must have a full understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance
  • Must be a qualified typist with a minimum of 60 W.P.M.
