The Role

As a Data Entry Clerk with arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in supporting our business operations. You'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into our systems, ensuring that our records are up-to-date and accurate. This is a short-term contract/temporary role, based in the San Jose, California area, and we're looking for someone who can commit to working remotely.

What You'll Do Every Day

As a Data Entry Clerk with arenaflex, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks, including:

  • Classifying information into spreadsheets, databases, and customer relationship management systems
  • Retaining detailed accounts of tasks, files, and progress
  • Performing searches on websites for information
  • Auditing reports and sheets of data
  • Verifying, correcting, and deleting unnecessary data, or combining data from several sources
  • Reviewing finalized work for errors or duplicate entries before turning in the final product
  • Obtaining further information for documents that are deemed incomplete

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:

  • Proficient computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, databases, and customer database systems
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other productivity tools
  • Expertise in computer research and data entry
  • Comprehensive knowledge of data entry principles and best practices
  • Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent typing accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with presentation software, such as PowerPoint or Google Slides

  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
