Insurance Agent

The Insurance Agent will connect with prospective clients, understand their needs, and guide them through the insurance purchasing process while maintaining a reputation for top-notch client experiences.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently sell home, auto, boat, life, etc insurance policies via phone, email, text, and chat
- Analyze customers' insurance needs based on a needs discovery conversation
- Leverage technology to quote insurance coverage with multiple companies to find clients the best fit for their needs
- Clearly explain insurance proposals to clients leveraging a consultative and empathetic approach
- Identify and capitalize on up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
- May conduct field visits as necessary
- Work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Skills
- Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and listening
- High School Degree or relevant work experience
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to multitask, strong computer, analytical, decision-making, time management, and organizational skills
- Insurance experience is not required, we will reimburse licensing fees (license required before start date) and provide extensive training so you become an insurance sales expert!
- A fast-learner who is meticulous, diligent, and proud about your work
- Adaptable, positively embracing change, and have a growth mindset
- Able to build rapport with several new people each day
