[Remote] Accounts Payable Specialist (remote)

They are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage the accounts payable process and maintain vendor relationships while collaborating with the accounting team.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire accounts payable process, including vendor invoice intake, new vendor setup, manager approvals, and payments
- Resolve vendor inquiries and payment exceptions while maintaining strong vendor relationships
- Assist team members with questions regarding vendor invoices and payments
- Collaborate with the accounting team to support the forecasting of cash outflow
- Review and process employee expense reports, including corporate credit card transactions
Skills
- Associate degree or higher in accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products, specifically Excel
- Experience using NetSuite
- Strong understanding of the accounts payable cycle
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- General ledger accounts payable experience in multi-entity and international environments
- Familiarity with Concur
- Experience working in a Sarbanes-Oxley compliant environment
- Background in the Biotech industry
